Annotate a screenshot.
Make your point in seconds.
Arrows, boxes, text, numbered steps, a highlighter that snaps to the line and a strike-out that writes the correction above it. Open your image and draw; nothing is uploaded.
Every tool has a letter
Point, explain, done.
A for the arrow, R for a box, T for text, N for the next step, H for the highlighter, K to strike out and correct. Every mark stays editable until you export.
Open the screenshot.
Choose Open, paste it with ⌘V or drop the file on the editor.
Mark it up.
Drag an arrow to the detail, number the steps, write a note. Select a mark to move it or change its colour.
Share it.
Copy it to paste into a chat, or export a PNG or JPEG.
A few things to know
Good questions.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no watermark, no limit.
Is my screenshot uploaded?
No. The editor runs in your browser; the image never leaves your device, and it is gone when you close the page.
Can I hide private details too?
Yes: Secure Redact (D) covers an area with solid pixels in the exported file. Blur and pixelate are visual effects, not protection.
What does the Mac app add?
SimpleShot for Mac captures an area, a window or a long scrolling page, opens it in this editor, reads the text of every capture, records video and GIFs, and keeps a Library you can search by the words on your captures.
